alto.golf

It's not about the score. It's about who you're playing with.

Alto tracks your round, runs your side bets, and gives you a recap when it's done. Works on iPhone and on the web — full parity, same features either way.

On a round

Three things, done carefully.

Play the round together

Scorecards, side bets per hole, Wolf, Nassau, skins. Designed around the foursome.

Settle without the math

The Ledger nets per-hole bets, closeouts, and what's owed at round close.

A recap to share

Every round ends with a shareable recap page — standings, side bets, the moments worth keeping.

The format

What's in the app.

Scorecards

Hole-by-hole, gross strokes, 9 or 18.

Side bets

Birdie-or-better, pressure hole, longest drive, closest to pin.

Wolf

Rotating partner selection. Payouts settled at round close.

Ledger

Closeout in seconds.

Network

Following, Suggested, Followers.

Caddy mode

Mark yourself as the caddy. Counts toward Loops led.

Caddy mode

Run the round without being on the card.

A caddy logs the round for the foursome, manages the side bets, and settles the ledger — without appearing on the scorecard. Rounds you run count toward Loops led on your profile.

For organizers

Host your tournament. Without the tournament software.

For the captain running the buddies trip, the board member running the charity scramble, the owner running the client outing.

Common questions

A few things people ask.

Is it free?
Yes — scorecards, side bets, every game, caddy mode, and tournament hosting are free in the current release.
Do I need the iOS app?
No. Alto runs on the web at alto.golf and as an iOS app, and they have the same features. Android users use the web; iOS users can use either.
Can I run my charity scramble, member-guest, or corporate outing?
Yes. The host surface covers registration, the tee-sheet, the live leaderboard, sponsor and charity branding, and a recap page at the end.
Do I have to play in the event I'm running?
No. You can run it as the organizer, or mark yourself as the caddy for a foursome. Either way, you stay off the scorecard.
How do players join an event?
You share a registration link. They sign up on the web or in the app — whichever they prefer.
How do side bets settle?
The Ledger nets every bet at round close — per-hole bets, closeouts, and what's owed.
Is my data private?
Yes — full details in our privacy policy.

Two ways to start.

Sign up at alto.golf in your browser, or download the iOS app. Same account, same features.
